Brian Lucear is a Director/Producer/Writer and production company operator (Super Groovy Productions). He is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he obtained a B.A. in Entertainment and Media Studies, a minor in Film Studies, and a Certificate in New Media. 

Brian’s filmmaking journey began as a teenager, making videos for fun and school projects. His passion for all things visual media - film, television, and music videos specifically - led him to pursue his passion as his career. Following graduation, Brian entered the entertainment & media industry by producing and shooting digital media content under his company Super Groovy Productions. Brian’s skills in producing gripping visual content has led to him working with clients such as Home Depot. In addition to digital media, Brian also garnered on-set production experience, having worked on productions for Starz and Netflix. 

As an independent filmmaker, Brian directed the live-action short film “Love Shot,” which won the “Georgia Spotlight Award” at the 2021 Up Next Film Festival.  His recently wrapped his latest directorial effort, “I Am a Gotdamn Comedy Writer” and the short film “Between These Walls” - which he produced and co-wrote.
